WebOS is a restrictive working framework, in view of a Linux piece, and created by Palm for its last age of cell phones.
The principal WebOS gadget was the first Palm Pre, delivered by Run in the US in June 2009.
The webOS offered some inventive UI highlights, which acquired heaps of notoriety. Sadly, the stage didn't give the foothold Palm required on the cell phone market.
In 2010 HP procured Palm and later on in 2011 delivered a tablet utilizing the operating system - the HP TouchPad. After some rebuilding transforms, it was concluded that HP will never again foster webOS and the TouchPad project was deserted.
Later on HP delivered an open source adaptation of the operating system called Open WebOS.
